What’s Included:

The fee for starting BHRT  with Dr. Taskier  is $1000. This includes:

    • Initial Evaluation: Dr. Mintz will perform a comprehensive history and brief physical examination.
    • Hormone and Related Testing: Dr. Taskier will perform routine blood tests to not only test your hormone levels, but also investigate other health factors related to hormone health.  These blood tests should be covered by your insurance.  Dr. Taskier may recommend testing hormone levels through salivary testing. (This is optional and the fee is extra-around $200-and usually not covered by insurance).
    • Review and Recommendations: Once your lab results are back, Dr. Taskier will create a customized treatment recommendation program for you and discuss this with you in-person or online at a follow up visit.  Most hormone treatments that Dr. Taskier may recommend are prescriptions that should be covered by insurance.
    • Access and Prescriptions: The fee also covers one year of email and phone access to answer questions related to your treatment plan as well as  1-year of hormone prescriptions.
    • Follow up appointments:  The fee also covers any follow up appointment related to your hormone treatment, including testing.  Dr. Taskier will determine the number of appointments needed (usually 1 or 2) and there is no extra charge for this.  While the initial appointment is usually in person, follow up appointment can be in-person or virtual.

Dr. Taskier does not accept any insurance, and is considered “out of network,” but can generate an invoice for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement
